November Abundance

TIP OF THE MONTH

I’m eager to share inspiration for this month of November! Let’s continue this conversation about Metaphors in Art. This is one of the ideas that I like to emphasize  using the SMART process too. This month we play with the concept of abundance.

There is an abundance of physical materials. For instance paints, papers, charcoal, clay. . .or any materials that fit your creative needs. The idea is that when we know that there is an abundance, so no shortage of, we can let go of being stingy. Instead its a feeling of going for it. Permission to create!

We can speak of an abundance, of time, space, permission and ideas. Allowing us to take in space, knowing there is enough to go around. Knowing that our own greatness inspires others to do the same. 

The gesture of abundance feels to me as being two fold. On one side, it is a gesture moving from inside to outside, like a fountain reaching out. On the flip side, it is a gesture moving in, allowing the abundance of inner connection and opening doors of inner wisdom.

It seems to me that hand in hand with Abundance comes Gratitude. These two act like a team that build upon each other in such a joyous dance. When we have gratitude for feeling abundant, its like giving permission to accept more abundance. I have witnessed this as such  a miracle of manifestation.
