Location: Atelier Molenpad, Molenpad 17D, 1016GL Amsterdam

Fees: A 2 1/2 hour pop up workshop is €85.- (including 21% tax and materials)

Typical workshop timeslots are 10-12:30 / 1:00-3:30pm/ 4:00-6:30pm / 6:30-9:00pm. Sessions can be virtual. Are there no group formed yet? Inquire about booking one on one coaching sessions in studio or Virtual.

Intuitive Painting Pop-Up Workshops:

We typically start with some warm up charcoal exercises to get our body ready for expression. Then we continue to express with paints. We build up the painting, often starting in a place where we do not know what the end piece will look like. This way we keep the painting open to be an expression of ourselves. Sessions are guided, all levels welcome. Intuitive painting techniques like layering the paints, transforming the image, and working from color to line to eventual form are taught for beginners and advanced.

Forget about aesthetics, and the looking good. Dare to embrace your inner wisdom. This is your time after all. Live it, express it, and embody it. There is no have to, just a curiosity in letting lines and colors dynamically connect to that meaningful place. Explore possibilities, have fun, make mistakes, be bold, fearless, paint awkwardly, do something out of the comfort zone. Allow your curiosity and an open mind take you to places that you have only dreamed of. Tap into your subconscious with art to uncover your true feelings.

Painting is a metaphor for life. Just like a fortune cookie, monthly themes offer topics to explore and solve. Painting, drawing and writing exercises inspire steps moving forward.
