1.Self-expression
Teenagers can express their ideas through the language of art in a physical medium. Therefore they can transfer, what they are struggling to say in words through the creative process.

2. Self-control
Teenagers can struggle easily with psychological issues and feel like their life is out of their hand to control. By stimulating the mind through an artistic activity teenagers can create something ,they can call their own. That will produce more sense of self-determination and help to overcome other problems in their life.

3. Confidence gained through the process

By progressively refining their skills in something like painting, drawing, sculpting or photography, teenagers can gain new confidence they need while their skills improve. They are able to look back at an art work, they made and see their improvement in a physical form. That will help to learn that things can get better with time and effort over time to time.

4. Building a sense of purpose
The teenagers will be able to look back at their art work and realize that they created something positive and worthwhile on their own. The work will remind them of positive times in their life and they will know that they can make something real and lasting.

5. Discovering a lifelong interest
Teenagers can find a lifelong interest and also a tool to solve problems of any kind with the help of artistic engagement. Art can be a healthy coping strategy to maintain a healthy mind.
