TIP OF THE MONTH

Summer is here! July is the season for inner child joy! 

. . .sweet weather. . .outdoors. . .vacation. . .joy. . .

At the studio, our Kidzartlab (Sundays 10:00-11:00) is a great opportunity to dabble in crayons. . .paints and clay. . .both for child and parent! By the way parents.  . . I also offer other workshops just for you! Ha ha!

The next Adult intuitive painting club night at Atelier Molenpad is on Tuesday, July  16th. If you have been thinking about joining, but postponing. . .stop postponing!  I’m going with the flow based on interest. Take the opportunity!

Kidz Art Lab is happening! Dates are: July 14, 21 August 18,25,1 (Sept) from 10-11:00 am (18 months- 5 year olds). Session focus on the magical worlds of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. Parents join in with their child during these meet ups. The lab is as exciting for parent and child. . .and dare I even say. . .coming with your child is optional. Really, as a parent or caretaker you will have a blast releasing your own inner child! Join our Instagram @kidzartlab or Facebook @kidzartlab group for dates. I use art as an initial diagnostic tool to get an accurate picture of what is happening in the here and now. The core topic for getting unstuck are quickly revealed using this process. Crayon magic peek a boo. . .

  1. Fill your page with colored wax crayons. . .
  2. Paint over entire sheet with a dark paint.  . . black works well. . .
  3. Let it dry. . .
  4. Now scratch away the paint and see the colors magically appear!
  5. What shapes, images naturally appear?
  6. Done.
